These terms govern your use of our moving services and website. Please read them carefully before booking.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or booking a move with Two Hours Movers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Two Hours Movers provides labor-only moving help. This includes loading, unloading, furniture rearrangement, packing, and related tasks as agreed upon during booking. We do not provide a moving truck unless explicitly arranged as a separate service.
3. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed when you receive a confirmation email or text with a reference number. We reserve the right to modify or cancel a booking if we cannot fulfill the requested service, with full notice to you.
4. Pricing and Payment
All rates are hourly with a 2-hour minimum. The clock starts when the crew arrives at the pickup location and ends when the job is completed. After the minimum, time is billed in 15-minute increments. Payment is due at the end of the move. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Venmo. For commercial moves, a deposit may be required.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your move free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 2–4 hours of the start time incur a fee equal to 50% of the 2-hour minimum. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the start time incur the full 2-hour minimum charge. 6. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient move, you agree to:
- Provide a safe working environment, free of hazards.
- Secure parking for the moving crew's vehicle.
- Be present or reachable by phone during the move.
- Ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed and ready (unless you have booked our packing service).
7. Liability and Insurance
Every move includes basic carrier liability at $0.60 per pound per item. Additional valuation coverage is available upon request. We are not liable for damage to items not properly packed by our crew, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value unless declared in advance. 8. Prohibited Items
We cannot transport hazardous materials, flammable items, live animals, perishable food, or illegal substances. If such items are discovered, we reserve the right to refuse service without refund.
9. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
