We Started With a Couch
In 2018, our founder Marco helped a neighbor move a sleeper sofa up three flights of stairs. The moving company she booked never showed. Marco and a friend did the job in under two hours — and realized there was a better way to offer moving labor.
Two Hours Movers was officially launched in 2019 from a small office on Orleans Street. The idea was simple: hourly moving help with a 2‑hour minimum, no hidden fees, and crews that actually care. Since then, we've completed over 12,000 moves across Chicagoland.
